RAPP COLLINS WORLDWIDE NAMES PRESIDENT FOR TORONTO OFFICE

Rapp Collins Worldwide has named John Cooper president of its Toronto office. Cooper joins RCW from FedEx Canada Ltd. where, for the past two years, he served as vice president of marketing, customer service, e-commerce and public relations/corporate communications. Before that, Cooper had been at the Quaker Oats Company of Canada Ltd. as a group product manager. He also held a variety of product management positions at General Mills Canada, Inc. Cooper replaces Ron Fabbro who in August of 1998 decided to pursue an international MBA at the University of Toronto. Fabbro remained working with RCW as a consultant. In the interim, Terry Hughes, senior executive on the board of directors for RCW and CEO InfoWorks North America, had been heading up the office. RCW is part of the Omnicom Group. The agency has 65 employees and counts UPS, Mead Johnson Nutritionals, SC Johnson, Scotiabank, Esso/Imperial Oil and Grand & Toy among its clients.
