YTV AND CORE AUDIENCE GO ON PSYKOBLAST TOUR

YTV Canada, Inc. and Core Audience, both of Toronto, are embarking on a national concert tour called PsykoBlast. In the past YTV has held the PsykoBlast Concert in Toronto, but the company has been looking for an opportunity to turn the event into a national tour. PsykoBlast is scheduled to make stops in the Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Winnipeg, Saskatchewan, Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver markets between July 7 and July 19. The lineup features pop music artists Christine Aguilera, The Moffatts, soulDecison, mytown and McMaster & James. YTV will support the tour with on-air promotional spots running until the end of the tour. Prints ads in newspapers, created by Echo Advertising of Toronto, and radio spots in select markets, created in-house, will also promote the tour. A Web site at <http://www.psykoblast.com> has been created and a full-page ad in the summer issue of YTV's Whoa! magazine, created by Toronto-based Creative House, is also promoting the tour. Media buying for the print and radio advertising was handled by Echo. The PsykoBlast tour is being sponsored by Kellogg's Corn Pops.
