T-FAL HITS THE HOT SPOT IN NEW CAMPAIGN

T-Fal Canada Inc. of Toronto is supporting the launch of its new Thermospot frypan with a national advertising campaign. A 30-second English and French television spot launched yesterday for a 10 week run. A second run is scheduled to hit the airwaves the end of September for another 13 weeks. Print ads are running in Wedding Bells, Today's Bride and Mariage Quebec. Advertising was created by Toronto-based Publicis SMW and is targeting female adults. T-Fal is positioning its new Thermospot frypan as "the future of cooking." The frypan features a heat sensor in the centre of the pan that indicates when the correct cooking temperature has been reached. Advertising is being supported with in-store POP materials including wall displays, brochures, tabletop displays and staff buttons created by J. Gottheil Marketing Communications Inc. of Markham, Ontario. PR for T-Fal is handled by Williams & Associates of Toronto.
