FALL READERSHIP STUDY RESULTS RELEASED

The results of NADbank's Toronto Fall Readership study shows readership remained stable in the market with no real increase or decreases by any of the four Toronto dailies. NADbank announced it was going to conduct a second survey in one of the major Canadian markets last Spring. The Fall study was conducted in the Toronto market and included results on all four dailies: The Globe & Mail, National Post, The Toronto Star and Toronto Sun. The results for each of the dailies in each category are as follows: The Globe & Mail readership was up in Read Yesterday, Weekday Reach, Saturday and Weekly Reach. The National Post readership remained unchanged in Read Yesterday, Weekday Reach, and Weekly Reach but did increase in Saturday readership. The Toronto Star was down in Weekday Reach, Saturday, Sunday and Weekly Reach categories but remained unchanged in Read Yesterday readership. The Toronto Sun was down in Read Yesterday, Weekday Reach, Sunday and Weekly Reach and remained unchanged in its Saturday readership.
