HARVEY'S AND CRAYOLA GET SILLY THIS SPRING
By Adnews Staff
Harvey's of Mississauga, Ontario and Crayola Canada of Lindsay, Ontario will celebrate April Fool's Day with a Silly Saturday party. The party is to promote the launch of Harvey's Kids Combos featuring Crayola products. During the rest of the promotion, which will run from April to June, customers will get one of four collectible Silly Putty eggs when they purchase a Harvey's Kids Combo at participating locations. The Silly Saturday party on April 1 will give customers a chance to get three of the four collectible eggs. On Easter Saturday, April 22, a golden egg will become available. Promotion of the Silly Putty Kids Combo includes in-restaurant window painting displays, menu runners, radio tags and public relations activities. The menu runners and radio tags were done by Toronto-based Ambrose Carr Linton Carroll, while the window displays were done by freelancer Pierre Tardif. Harvey's and Crayola are planning a second promotion for this summer featuring Crayola's sidewalk chalk. Harvey's is owned and operated by Cara Restaurant Group. PR for Harvey's is handled by Strategic Objectives of Toronto.
