DRAFTWORLDWIDE MOVES INTO SCANDINAVIAN MARKET

Chicago-based DraftWorldwide is expanding into the Scandinavian market with the acquisition of Trampolin Advertising, an integrated marketing agency. Stockholm-based Trampolin offers companies "strategic communications solutions designed to increase customer loyalty and strengthen brand values". The agency consists of three division: Trampolin (direct marketing), Volley (sales promotion and production) and an interactive marketing division called Pool Interactive. Following the acquisition the agency will be renamed DraftWorldwide Sweden. Clients of Trampolin include Swedish governmental debt agency Riksgaeldskontoret, Scandinavian airline SAS and daily business publication Svenska Dagbladet. "Trampolin will form the cornerstone of Draft's Scandinavian operations, which we aim to expand across to Denmark, Norway and Finland," said Jordan Rednor, president and chief operating officer of DraftWorldwide. DraftWorldwide, a unit of the Interpublic Group of Companies, currently operates offices in 26 countries.
