High Road Communications has promoted five employees in its Ottawa office and added another. Jessica Gould has been promoted from account supervisor to senior consultant, Heather McCulligh and Adrienne Vienneau both move from account executives to account supervisors, and Marisa Marzano and Marsh Moore have both been promoted to account executives from account coordinators. In addition to the promotions within the office, High Road has hired Jeff Leiper as account supervisor. Leiper, with a background in telecommunications and technology journalism, joins the agency from Report on Wireless, where he was editor.
BenchMark Porter Novelli is growing with three new hires. Joining the staff are Susanne Gossage and Trina Hendry, as consultants for the agency's corporate technology group, and Jenny Vasiloff as consultant for the consumer group. Prior to coming to BenchMark, Gossage led the in-house public relations department for eChange, an e-commerce company. Hendry joins the agency from Edelman Public Relations where she worked as a senior account coordinator, while Vasiloff most recently worked as a freelancer for Krack Distribution Canada, an urban clothing designer.
Vickers & Benson Direct Interactive has added three new members to its interactive staff. Anji Barton has been appointed new media developer working on the Bank of Montreal and Sprint Canada accounts. Barton joins VBDI after freelancing as a consultant. Brendan Lynch comes to VBDI as programmer to handle Web development on all accounts. Most recently Lynch was an Intranet developer for INTRIA-HP. Jim McGinley, who joins the agency as systems architect, was most recently a senior trainer at ObjectArts.
