KRAFT CANADA INTRODUCING OVEN CLASSICS

Toronto-based Kraft Canada is giving Canadian families more time to spend together with the launch of its new Kraft Oven Classics. Kraft's answer to a quick, dinnertime solution, Kraft Oven Classics take only five minutes to make and 30 minutes to bake. Available in four varieties including Herb & Garlic Chicken Bake, Lemon Chicken Bake, Traditional Roast Chicken Bake or Honey Mustard Chicken Bake, Kraft Oven Classics began rolling out to supermarket and grocery stores across Canada January 24. Heather Cartwright, associate product manager, said Kraft expects its roll out to be complete by the end of March. A supporting advertising campaign running in both English and French will include television and print advertising as well as in-store point-of-purchase materials. Kraft is also supporting the launch with a Family Game Night Contest. Kraft is asking Canadian families what they would do with an extra 30 minutes of free time in their day. Entries can be submitted in the form of an illustration or short story. Ten winners will receive a Family Game Night gift package from Hasbro Canada and a Kraft Oven Classics culinary prize pack. Advertising for Oven Classics is done by Harrod & Mirlin/FCB of Toronto. Public relations is handled by Strategic Objectives, also of Toronto. Entries for the Contest must be received by May 31. The draw is scheduled to take place June 15.
