HEINZ CATCHES POKEMON FEVER

Toronto-based Heinz Canada is teaming up with Warner Brothers to catch Pokemon: The First Movie. The two have launched a national promotion featuring a video offer. The promotion, which began February 21 and runs through May 31, includes a $5 mail-in rebate for Pokemon: The First Movie video and a free video poster. Consumers receive the video rebate and movie poster by sending in two video and two poster points available on the back labels of specially marked Ketchup bottles and the completed Heinz rebate form found inside the video. Promotional support will include in-store point-of-purchase materials, video inserts and four weeks of national television advertising. Pokemon: The First Movie hits store shelves March 21.
