ENN EXPANDS INTO THE BIG APPLE

Toronto-based Elevator New Network has announced the first phase of its introduction into the U.S. marketplace with plans to install its in-elevator news network in office buildings in New York and Chicago. "Until now we have concentrated our efforts in the Canadian marketplace because we wanted to build our infrastructure and perfect our service," Peter Irwin, president and CEO of ENN, explained in a release. "Now that we have secured our product in the major office properties in Toronto and Calgary, we felt it was time for us to get aggressive in the U.S." Negotiations with building owners in both Manhattan, New York and Chicago are being conducted. ENN expects to be operational in properties throughout these cities shortly. Customized programming for individual office buildings as well as full-motion video advertising appears on video monitors mounted in elevator cabs.
