FIRST CANADIAN MIXES BUSINESS. PLEASURE
By Adnews Staff
First Canadian Place Shopping Centre in Toronto has launched a new 2000 marketing campaign called "First Canadian Place, Mix Business with Pleasure." The marketing efforts are designed to highlight the shops, services, arts and event initiatives of the centre. Targeting Toronto's downtown business community, the campaign includes awareness-building advertising from Mamone & Partners of Toronto. Targeted transit advertising along with in-centre signage and collateral materials are aiming to depict the centre as a perfect balance between business and lifestyle. "Mix Business with Pleasure" posters in subway stations and bus shelters will also be used. The posters are also being placed in high traffic areas throughout First Canadian Place. Brochures are being distributed to both tenants and visitors to the centre. Advertising is scheduled to run until the end of April. The new campaign coincides with First Canadian Place introducing its Art & Events program and The Learning Network series of events running from March through June. Both programs will feature exhibitions, performances, lifestyle, health/fitness, fashion, food and charity events.
