KRAFT CANADA CHILLS OUT WITH REFRIGERATED JELL-O

Toronto-based Kraft Canada hopes to send women across the country racing to the refrigerator for its newly-launched Refrigerated Jell-O snacks. The product line consists of a range of ready-to-eat single serving snacks available in three varieties: cheesecake, pudding sundaes and gel snacks. Each variety offers two different snacks. Kraft's new "indulgent snacks" are being promoted to adult women with active lifestyles who may not have the time to make something indulgent. In-store sampling is taking place across Canada with event sampling confined to Ontario and Quebec. Print ads in women's magazines such as Chatelaine and Canadian Living are being supported with a 30-second television spot in both French and English. In-store consumers will see info shelves and floor signs directing them to the dairy case. All advertising for Refrigerated Jell-O is done by Young & Rubicam. PR is being handled by Strategic Objectives of Toronto.
