By Adnews Staff
3M Company Canada of London, Ontario has been working with lettershops to streamline the process of applying Post-it Notes to direct mail pieces. In an effort to increase the use of Post-It Notes by advertisers and direct marketers, 3M has developed automated technology to make it easier and more cost-effective to place the notes on direct response vehicles. "We're now ready to apply Post-it Notes in the printing process," said Paul Kennedy of TDC Direct of Mississauga, Ontario. "We can lay down custom printed notes or blank notes that can be personalized at high speeds for virtually any size campaign." According to 3M, moving from a hand-applied to an automated application process gives direct marketers greater interest in incorporating Post-it Notes in creative campaigns.
