Molson has appointed of Brett Marchand as vice president, Molson Canada and Rob Guenette as vice president, Molson Export (English Canada). In their respective positions, Marchand and Guenette will be responsible for both development and execution of the individual brand campaigns for Molson Canadian and Molson Export. Marchand comes to Molson from U.S.-based Campbell Soup Company where he was most recently category director for Pace Foods, a division of Campbell. Guenette, who's appointment is effective January 4, 2000, will join Molson from Lever Pond's Toronto where he is category director.

The Health and Pharma Group at Hill and Knowlton is preparing for a busy new year with the addition of two new staffers and a promotion within the group. Elizabeth Margles joins the group team as vice president and Robin Key as consultant. Margles was most recently director of public affairs and communications for pharmaceutical company Wyeth Ayerst, while Key was a specialist in medical education with the Medicine Group. Alison Holly is promoted from assistant consultant to consultant. Her promotion will allow her to take on additional responsibilities on drug launches and medical education campaigns. David Morelli has joined 3Com Canada as communications manager. He will be responsible for overseeing 3Com's communications programs including public relations, advertising, Web site development and corporate branding initiatives. Morelli joins 3Com from Environics Communications where he worked as a senior consultant.
