NEWSPAPER SALES FALL

Newspaper sales fell in most countries in 1994, hitting developed countries the hardest, according to a survey by the International Federation of Newspaper Publishers. The study also showed that Japan had the most daily sales with 71.9 million, the U.S. was second with 59 million and Germany was third with 25.7 million.
