OK&D MOVING ON UP
By Adnews Staff
OK&D Marketing Communications has set up shop in Burlington, Ontario. The full-service advertising and promotional agency recently re-located to Burlington after being based in Hamilton, Ontario for almost 20 years. Initial response to the move, according to OK&D, has been positive. The agency has picked up two new accounts: The Art Gallery of Hamilton and VRE Green House Systems of Grassie, Ontario. OK&D said it made the move in response to a shift the agency was experiencing in its client base. Jacques Major, account director, explained that most of OK&D's business is coming from the Greater Toronto Area and the Niagara Peninsula, with an increase in U.S.-based business. The relocation to Burlington offers the agency faster access to the highway and a better support infrastructure for OK&D's type of business, he added. The agency has settled into its new home and begun work on its new accounts; full creative, media and planning for The Art Gallery of Hamilton and VRE Green House Systems, in addition to Web site development for VRE. OK&D has also begun work on an assignment for an unidentified Toronto-based specialty channel. The assignment is on a project basis only.
