By Adnews Staff
FASHION magazine is responding to readers requests for more with the announcement the publication is increasing its frequency from six to eight issues for 2000. "The overriding reason to increase frequency is to build a greater relationship with our readers and a stronger brand," publisher Giorgina Bigioni said. She added the magazine tries to stay ahead of its competition by listening to what readers and advertisers want and act on it. The 22-year-old style magazine will now publish March, April, May, Summer, September, October, November and Winter editions. According to FASHION, with the increase in frequency, the magazine's accumulated reach will also increase by an estimated 21 per cent. The increase in frequency is one of several new changes at the magazine including a new oversized format and a customized Vancouver edition. FASHION magazine is owned by Key Publishers Limited. It has a readership of 596,000.
