INPRISE RETURNS PR BUSINESS TO THE COMMUNICATIONS GROUP

Inprise (Canada) Inc. (formerly Borland Canada) of Markham, Ontario has renewed its relationship with The Communications Group of Toronto. The company has re-appointed the agency its Canadian public relations consultants-of-record. The Communications Group and Inprise first worked together in 1992 when the agency began handling the company's, then known as Borland, public relation activities. In 1995 the account was moved in-house until this year when recently-appointed Canadian president Kevin Cornell, who had worked with The Communications Group in the past, moved the account back into their hands. The agency will be responsible for corporate positioning and software product brand positioning for Borland's products which includes: C++ Builder, Delphi, Jbuilder, JdataStore, MIDAS, VisiBroker and Appcentre/Appserver. Inprise Canada is a subsidiary of Inprise Corporation based in Scotts Valley, California.
