HOLIDAY INN ON KING AND ABOUTFACE BRINGING SMILES TO CHILDREN'S FACES

Holiday Inn On King and AboutFace, both of Toronto have teamed up to launch the "Buy A Child A Smile" fundraising campaign. AboutFace is a non-profit organization that provides education and information to individuals with facial differences. From November 1 to November 30th, the hotel will offer visitors brightly colored clown smiles on sticks in exchange for donations. The fundraising campaign is being supported with an in-hotel information display booth set up by AboutFace. Hotel employees will also be wearing stickers on their uniforms to promote the campaign. Proceeds will go to "Unwrapping the package", an education program being presented to schools in the Greater Toronto Area by AboutFace. Holiday Inn On King is the exclusive sponsor of this program, which educates third grade students to accept differences and encourage good self-esteem. The stickers and media kit covers were created by Adlib of Toronto. Public relations for Holiday Inn On King are being handled by Concepts Inc. Public Relations of Toronto. Additional promotion of the campaign is being done through give-aways on Toronto radio stations CHUM AM and EZROCK 97.
