KIA CANADA SPONSORS RHYTHMS OF THE WORLD

Kia Canada Inc. of Mississauga, Ontario is sponsoring Harbourfront's Rhythms of the World event as part of the car company's Y2K "Yes 2 Kia" world festival. The festival, which is taking place in 17 countries, is represented as part of the car company's dedication to local communities. Kia Canada is owned by Kia Motor Corp. of Seoul, Korea. Toronto Harbourfront is the first worldwide event, with additional Canadian events planned for the Montreal and Vancouver markets. Kia Canada will be introducing itself to the Canadian market for the first time and will have on display the current 2000 Sephia and 2000 Sportage vehicles that are on sale this month. As part of Kia's promotion of the event, those who attend will have the opportunity to enter a contest to win a new Sportage 4x4 sport utility vehicle from Kia.
