HOLMES & LEE AWARDED GLOBAL ASSIGNMENT

The International Vision Calls Foundation has chosen Holmes & Lee of Toronto to handle its global public relations assignment. The foundation is dedicated to eliminating avoidable blindness globally. Registered in Canada, the foundation will be celebrating its world launch in Beijing, China in September. Vision Calls, working with The International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness and the World Health Organization, will be launching four initiatives this year that will support the foundation's goal of eliminating avoidable blindness by the year 2020. According to Homes & Lee's president, John Lee, the agency's first role will be to focus strategically and creatively on communicating what the foundation is all about. Once this goal has been met, the agency will move right into the launch of the first two initiatives, "Sound of Sight" which collects and resells deactivated wireless phones internationally and "A Cent for Sight" which will collect 1/100th of a cent from every minute of traffic volume on the global networks.
