THE BETTER WAY IS NOW THE CHEAPER WAY

The Toronto Transit Commission has improved the "better way" with a new product launched today. An annual Metropass, which when broken down is less expensive per month than the old monthly Metropass, not only saves you money while traveling on the TTC, it could save consumers $100 in car insurance premiums. Peopleplus Insurance Company, a member of the Zurich Financial Services Group, is offering car insurance discounts to Metropass discount plan customers beginning in July. To promote the new annual Metropass, information cards and applications are available at all collector's booths. Posters throughout the stations and on platforms will also advertise the new pass as well as radio spots, print ads in daily newspapers, public service announcements throughout the stations and spots on the TTC's metron messaging system. Advertising for the TTC is done by Communiqué of Toronto.
