FOODLAND TRUSTS NEW CAMPAIGN

Foodland Ontario is launching a new media campaign emphasizing the government's efforts to support Ontario's agri-food industry. Foodland Ontario is a program established in 1977 by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs to maintain or increase the market share of Ontario-grown produce. The new campaign, launched by Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Noble Villeneuve, focuses on trust, in both Ontario produce and the people who produce it. The campaign will break April 9 with the first broadcast of the television commercial and will run until mid-October throughout southern Ontario. It includes a series of new television commercials supported by radio and billboard advertising created by The Gingko Group Ltd. of Toronto. In addition to consumer advertising, the program includes market research, trade liaison, retail marketing and public relations.
