Andrea Lekushoff has been hired as a consultant at Toronto-based public relations company Argyle Rowland Worldwide. She will take on the Investors Group and Canadian Association of Financial Planners accounts. Previously she held the position of counsellor at Cohn & Wolfe. She has also worked at the Canadian Embassy in Washington, D.C. and the Canadian-American Business Council, also in Washington. Nadir Desai has been promoted at PSINet Inc. to the positions of senior vice-president and president, Canada and Latin America. PSINet Inc., based in Herndon, VA, owns PSINet Ltd., one of Canada's largest Internet service providers. Previously Desai was president and CEO of this Canadian subsidiary. In his new role he will oversee all aspects of sales and marketing, corporate services and operations in Canada, Mexico, Central America and South America.
