PARKAD LAUNCHES UNDERGROUND ADVERTISING

PARKAD MEDIA LTD. of Toronto is launching its newest advertising medium beneath the downtown streets of Toronto in the city's underground parking garages. The company is introducing the PARKAD's wayLIGHT advertising and wayfinding system at the Hazelton Lanes Parkade on March 29. The system, designed by PARKAD's president Brad Golden, is designed to improve the appearance and illumination of parking garages, while providing a medium for campaigns targeting professional, urban, vehicle owners. The system is located in strategic locations throughout participating parking facilities. It helps to orient patrons of the facility through increased illumination and presentation of advertising graphics. PARKAD's wayLIGHT system will be installed in the Toronto Eaton Centre's Parkade in June with plans for a national roll-out to follow.
