BRANDWORKS PICKS UP TWO ACCOUNTS

Brandworks International of Toronto is on a winning streak. The agency picked up two new pieces of business recently: The Movie Network and Faces Cosmetics of Toronto. Brandworks won The Movie Network of Toronto account after a competition with an undisclosed number of agencies. The incumbent on the business was Two Door Communications of Toronto. Brandworks' first campaign for TMN will begin in the spring and will promote the network's summer movies. The bulk of the work for TMN will begin in the fall.
The Faces Cosmetics account was won without a formal review. Brandworks was referred to the company, who was also speaking to another agency. Brandworks was hired to assist the company in developing a new look, market position and communication program, which will be launched in the third or fourth quarter. A new ad campaign for Faces will be launched at that time. Until now, Faces handled its advertising in-house. Faces is an international cosmetics company that manufactures and retails its Faces brand of cosmetics in over 100 retail outlets.
