The Marketing & Promotions Group of Toronto has some new faces around the office. Karen Baker has joined the agency to head up the Lottery Business Unit. Most recently she managed the lottery portfolio at the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario. Graydon Lau is now at the agency as account director. Previously he was senior brand manager at Bacardi-Martini Canada and Leslee Vivian is vice-president and creative director at M&PG. Formerly she was associate creative director at Vickers & Benson Advertising of Toronto. Mark Cater has been named vice-president of NATIONAL Pharmacom of Toronto, assuming responsibility for the firm's international and Canadian business. Most recently Cater was deputy sector head healthcare and head of healthcare in the U.K. for Edelman Worldwide. David Pennington has joined Core Audience Entertainment of Toronto as controller. Most recently he owned his own financial services company in Vancouver. Kelly Rourke is now at the company as account manager. Previously she was with Citytv/CablePulse24 as promotions coordinator. Chris Thompson is a new production manager. Formerly he was production manager and event producer for the Fort Erie Friendship Festival, the Niagara Grape & Wine Festival and the Up Yer Grand Music Festival. Core Audience is a promoter and event producer. Janet Bendon Fabri is now at InSystems Technologies as public relations manager. Prior to this she was corporate communications and public affairs manager at Kodak Canada.
