NBTEL GOES EXTREME

NBTel of St. John, New Brunswick launched its high-speed Internet service this week in areas of Fredericton, Moncton and St. John. Called Advantage Business--Extreme Speed Internet, the service does not tie up the phone lines, allowing customers to make calls and send and receive faxes simultaneously. Extreme Speed Internet is provided through a network connection so several people can share a single network access, saving the expense of multiple modems and access lines required to support multiple users. The cost of the service starts at $125 a month and features different options for each business' requirements. Advantage Business--Extreme Speed Internet will be promoted using ads in daily newspapers and direct mail, as well as posters and brochures at dealers. The campaign was created by Eastwood, Smith, Brunet of St. John.
