ERNST & YOUNG LAUNCHES GLOBAL COMMUNICATIONS STUDY

Ernst & Young has launched a global research program to examine new business strategies, service models and infrastructure issues for communications companies. Called The Leadership Connection, the study will set the tone for the International Telecommunication Union conference in Geneva, Switzerland in October 1999. The survey results will be released before the event. The study will analyze the strategic perspectives of over 50 CEOs from telecommunications companies around the world. These companies will include traditional and emerging communications service providers, technology suppliers and new media businesses.
