By Adnews Staff
Euro RSCG Worldwide of New York has bought a stake in Sharpe Blackmore Inc. of Toronto. Sharpe Blackmore made the move so it could have access to international resources and access to international business, partner Tom Blackmore told Adnews this week. "This gives us the best of both worlds - continued autonomy while enabling us to tie into Euro's global network and clients," chairman and CEO Bill Sharpe says in a release. It also gives Euro RSCG a Canadian presence. Sharpe Blackmore will continue to be headed by chairman and CEO Bill Sharpe and president Tom Blackmore. The agency was founded in 1996 by Sharpe and Blackmore. Sharpe Blackmore's client list includes Xerox Canada, Absolut Vodka, RJR Nabisco, Dell Computer, MGI Software, BCB Software and CDI Education Corp.
