DMB&B TRYS TO MAKE PEOPLE UNDERSTAND SCHIZOPHRENIA

D'Arcy, Masius, Benton & Bowles Canada of Toronto is launching a TV public service announcement in January for the Schizophrenia Society of Canada. The goal of the campaign "is to change attitudes and minds to make people understand what schizophrenia really is," society executive director Penelope Marrett says in a release. DMB&B was hired for the business two weeks ago in a competition with Talisman Films of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The incumbent agency was MacLaren: McCann of Toronto which created a print ad that has been running since April. The TV PSA will complement the print ad. This isn't the first time DMB&B has worked with the organization. The agency created its logo in 1992.
