NORTH AMERICAN DETECTORS TO OFFER COMBO PRODUCT

North American Detectors Inc. of Toronto will launch a new product next month in North America that acts as a carbon monoxide detector and night light. The monitor detects carbon monoxide while an electroluminescent panel provides all night illumination for less than one cent per day. The unit plugs into an electrical outlet. Other features include an instant test/retest feature, as well as power and alarm light indicators. In Canada, North American Detectors plans to promote the detector using advertising, but hasn't confirmed its plans yet. Advertising for the company is handled in-house. North American Detectors handles the research, development and distribution of a line of carbon monoxide detectors, smoke alarms, explosive gas detectors, as well as other home, health and safety products.
