BUCKLEY RUB TO GET NATIONAL TV PUSH

W.K. Buckley is satisfied with the test market results of its new Pain Relief Rub and is now rolling out the product nationwide. To back this rollout, which began last month, the Toronto-based company is running a national television campaign featuring company spokesman Frank Buckley, the man who appeared in bad taste spots for the company's cough syrup. The rub will also be one of the products in a gift pack that is part of a national drug promotion starting Oct. 1. The TV campaign will run from Oct. 30 until the third week of January next year. The agency behind it is Bensimon/Byrne of Toronto, the shop that did the initial billboard and radio advertising for the rub in Ontario.
