LOLLIPOP MAKES AD DEBUT IN CANADA

Chupa Chups of Spain brought its lollipops to North America last year and recently launched its first Canadian advertising campaign for the treat. The lollipop is also called Chupa Chups. The campaign uses transit ads in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal and uses the tagline: "There's a sucker born every minute." The ads were created by Harrod & Mirlin/FCB of Toronto. Chupa Chups is a low-calorie, fat-free lollipop. It comes in 30 different flavors including super sour, bubble gum, fruit, soda and ice cream varieties. In Canada, they are distributed by Ashley-Koffman Foods. They are available at Holt Renfrew, The Bay, Eatons, corner stores and candy shops.
