HIGHWOOD WINS BIG AT RODEO

Highwood Communications of Calgary was the big winner recently at the Calgary Ad Rodeo. The agency walked away with six awards including Best of Show for a 30-second TV spot produced for the Calgary Exhibition & Stampede. Highwood also won awards for work it created for Alberta Tourism and Bering Pacific Ranches. KARO was another multiple award winner, taking away five awards for work it did for Jasper Park Lodge, Alberta Theatre Projects, Adobe Systems Inc., the Calgary Convention & Visitors Bureau Web site and the YMCA Calgary. Ogilvy & Mather also picked up five awards and Parallel Strategies walked away with three. Other award winners were: Inhouse Advertising Group, Shaw Communications; In the Pink Design/Watermark Communications, Watermark/Ethan Allen; Watermark, Mark's Work Wearhouse; Anderson McFallon Communications, Avemda Place/Torode Realty; Young & Rubicam; The Parker Group; Result Communications, Tarragon Oil & Gas; Idea Machine Inc. Creative Services, The Calgary Flames Hockey Club and Propeller. The Ad Rodeo recognizes the creative efforts of Calgary's advertising and marketing community.
