3M LAUNCHES NEW BANDAGE

3M of London, Ont. recently introduced a new bandage to the Canadian market that it says blocks out water dirt and germs to promote faster healing of wounds. Called Clean Seals Superior Waterproof Protection Bandages, the bandage will remain in place while showering or bathing. It features a seal around the pad to keep the wound dry and clean and is made of ultra thin, breathable material that conforms to bending and flexing. 3M Clean Seals are available in three package selections: 30 assorted sizes, 15 small and eight medium-size dressings. The product will be promoted using national magazine ads beginning in June. Sampling at Wal-Mart Canada stores will also be used. Advertising for 3M is done by Grey Advertising of Toronto. 3M also markets other bandages including: 3M Active Strips Flexible Foam Bandages, 3M Active Strips Brights Flexible Form Bandages and 3M Comfort Strips Ultra Comfortable Bandages. Active Strips and Active Strips Brights are designed for use during exercise and rigorous physical activities. Comfort Strips are geared for moderate, day-to-day activity.
