SPRINT TARGETS COLLEGE STUDENTS

When college students phone home for money U.S.-based Sprint Corp. wants to be the long distance phone service they use. The company has gone on the World Wide Web with a pitch aimed at students. The site features Druper's House, starring Druper, a Willie Nelson look-alike complete with salt-and-pepper beard and stringy hair flowing to his shoulders. The Web site advertising was created by J. Walter Thompson of San Francisco. Sprint's Web address will be on all material given out on campuses. The address is <http://www.sprint.com/college/>.
