DOUBLECLICK ENTERS THE U.K.

DoubleClick Inc. of New York, an Internet advertising network, has expanded into the United Kingdom. DoubleClick UK will consist of a collection of UK-based Web sites deisgned to help advertisers build one-to-one relationships with their customers on the Web. Companies will be offered the entire lineup of DoubleClick services including TestIT, a program designed for testing banner creative within 48 hours: Spotlight, a service for advertisers wanting to track user activity beyond the banner and ClickBoosters, a marketing agent for automated placement of banners on those Web site pages most likely to generate the highest response rates. DoubleClick will be operating in 10 countries by the end of the year.
