MOHAWK PROMOTION HELPS LIONS CLUBS
By Adnews Staff
Vancouver-based Mohawk Oil is trying to raise money for the Lions Clubs. The company launched a promotion last week at its gas stations in Western Canada where customers can buy a six pack of Pepsi for $1.99 with fuel purchase, or for $2.49 without. From August 11 to Sept. 14, customers can buy two selected two-litre pops for $1.99 with fuel purchase or for $2.49 without. Ten cents from each purchase will be donated to the Lions Club, a non-profit organization created to assist children with disabilities. The promotion is being supported with radio ads and point-of-purchase materials created by Palmer Jarvis Advertising of Vancouver.
