IQ TO LAUNCH CANADIAN TRIVIA GAME

IQ Media of Toronto will introduce its CD-ROM Canadian trivia game to the Canadian market later this month. Called GeoRiddler Canada, the game tests your knowledge of Canadian pop culture, sports, entertainment, history, science, politics and geography. For a limited time, the game will be sold with a slammer, which allows up to three players to "slam-in" on their own hand held buzzer device when they know an answer. The CD-ROM was produced in conjunction with Canadian Geographic magazine. Point-of-purchase materials created in-house will promote GeoRiddler. Other advertising plans are still in the works. Vickers & Benson Advertising of Toronto has handled some advertising for IQ in the past. This is the third game developed by IQ. The others are Canadian Geographic Explorer and the Explorer Lab Pack.
