NESTLE TOUTS REAL FRUIT BEVERAGES
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based Nestle Canada launched an outdoor and sampling campaign in Ontario and Western Canada today to promote its Libby's Real Fruit Beverages. The drink has been available in Ontario for a year and has been in Western Canada since February. The ads were created by McLaren McCann of Toronto. Nestle is also planning special event marketing and co-op advertising with convenience stores. Libby's Real Fruit Beverages are available in three lines: thick juices, spritzers and lemonades. Thick juices are made of the whole fruit including the seeds and skins. Spritzers are made of the same puree, but carbonated water is added. The lemonades are available in three levels of tartness: Sorta Sweet, Kinda Sour and Really Sour. McLaren was given all of Nestle's juice business in late 1996 after a worldwide realignment.
