H-P LAUNCHES MINI-COMPUTERS

U.S.-based Hewlett-Packard introduced two palmtop PCs to the North American market last week. Called the HP 300LX and 320LX, both machines use Microsoft Windows CE and feature 640 X 240 pixel, full-width screens that displays information just as it appears on a desktop PC. They also have four MB of RAM as well as fax receive and send capabilities and a printer driver. In Canada, H-P will launch trade advertising in the fall to promote the machines. It will be created by Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising of Toronto.
