CONDO PROJECT TO USE VR TO DRIVE SALES

The Kimble Group of Toronto will open the sales office for its $80-million Riviera condominium tower this week. The units are to be built on Toronto's harbourfront. All 328 suites in the twin-tower complex, scheduled for completion in December 1998, will have a view of Lake Ontario. Another feature of the project is that every suite will be connected to the World Wide Web and a local resident intranet through high-speed T1 cabling. Even the sales office for the condominiums has a high-tech flavor. A virtual tour allows prospective buyers to sample harbourfront sites and get an idea of what a suite in the project would look like. Print teaser ads for the project ARE already appearing, and will be followed by a print and direct mail campaign running in Canada and the Pacific Rim. McBrain Sharp Marketing & Communications of St. Catharines, Ont. is handling the ad campaign, while Senior Solutions Marketing Inc. of Toronto is supporting the project with PR.
