Ontario teachers' federation begins campaign

The Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation has begun a new campaign intended to raise awareness of issues related to the funding of public education in the province. Developed by Point Blank Creative, the campaign includes a series of videos in the style of a trailer for a show called “Ford High,” in which public education is being neglected by the provincial government. The campaign will run on streaming video services and social media.

“This is more than an ad campaign, it’s a call to action,” said Natasha Wilson, CEO of Point Blank Creative. “Ontarians overwhelmingly support publicly funded education, yet many are voting against their own values due to economic anxieties and distracting political rhetoric. ‘Ford High’ cuts through that noise by making the stakes personal, immediate, and impossible to ignore.”
