LIBERTY HEALTH LAUNCHES FLEXIBLE HEALTH INSURANCE
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based Liberty Health introduced a health plan this week that the company says is flexible, to allow consumers to pay only for the coverage they need. Called flexCARE, the program has three core plans: DentalPlus, DrugPlus and ComboPlus. DentalPlus offers basic or enhanced dental coverage, plus vision care, extended health care, emergency travel health coverage and accidental death and dismemberment insurance. DrugPlus provides basic or enhanced prescription drug coverage, as well as vision care, extended health care, emergency travel health coverage and accidental death and dismemberment insurance. ComboPlus offers everything DentalPlus and DrugPlus offer. Other features of the program include reduced rates for couples, special rates for families with at least three children, full coverage for expectant mothers, prescription drug coverage for people 65-years-of-age and older, access to a 24-hour toll-free health information service and a vision warranty program. Advertising for flexCARE consists of radio, TV and print created by Grey Direct of Toronto.
