Rainbow Refugee releases video

Vancouver-based non-profit organization Rainbow Refugee has released a video intended to raise awareness of its work to assist people from other countries escape persecution based on sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression or HIV status by gaining refugee status in Canada. The video was produced in collaboration with AntiSocial, the social media division of Thinkingbox. It has been posted to Instagram, LinkedIn and Youtube. It presents the personal stories of various staff and volunteers of the organization.

“Thinkingbox prioritizes giving back to our local communities and supporting marginalized groups, including LGBTQI+ refugees,” said Elisha Zagerman, senior manager of talent acquisition at Thinkingbox. “Our values align closely with those of Rainbow Refugee, which is why we've chosen to partner with them to make a tangible difference rather than simply sharing a Pride post. Our latest project, ‘A Place Called Pride,’ features Rainbow Refugee volunteers and employees. We are honored to amplify their voices and celebrate their contributions to the community.”
