PopReach rebrands as Ionik

Toronto-based marketing technology company PopReach has undertaken a rebranding initiative. The company will now operate as Ionik. According to PopReach, the new name better reflects its efforts to “build a first-party data-driven performance and brand advertising platform.”
In related news, Ted Hastings has been appointed CEO of the company. He was previously executive chair of the board. Prior to that, he was CEO of Federated Foundry. Ben Colabrese has been appointed chair of the board in addition to his existing position as chair of the audit committee.
