Two Quebec newspapers release app

Newspapers Le Journal de Montréal and Le Journal de Québec, both owned by Quebecor, have launched a new mobile application. The free application, available for Android and Apple devices, will offer access to the full content of both publications, including notifications of breaking news. The app also includes a new interactive real estate section that tracks the value of properties in various neighbourhoods over the past two years.
“We have invested heavily in our content over the past few years,” said Lyne Robitaille, senior vice-president of newspapers, books and magazines at Quebecor. “We will now present all this content in a different, more creative, and intuitive way, in order to make it more user-friendly than ever, seeing as that is what today's readers want. This new platform adds to our website, which is already the most visited in Quebec on mobile devices.”
