GREYHOUND AIR GETS MORE GROUND SUPPORT
By Adnews Staff
Calgary-based Greyhound Air is bringing a pair of travel agencies into its ticket sales operation. Over the next several weeks, Cook/Marlin Travel and Carlson Wagonlit will begin offering their clients seats on Greyhound flights. Jim Ballingall, Greyhound's marketing director, said in a release that the company made the move to include the travel agencies because some Greyhound passengers want to be able to book their hotels, car rentals and flights with one call. Print ads promoting Greyhound's expanded ticket sales network will begin running later in April. Palmer Jarvis Advertising of Vancouver will handle the ads.
