Amorim Cork Flooring begins campaign
By Adnews Staff
Portugese flooring company Amorim Cork Flooring has begun a new international campaign called “Mars” in 17 countries including the United States, Canada, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Sweden and Finland. Developed by marketing agency Stream and Tough Guy, the campaign consists of website, print, social media and point-of-sale materials. Its intent is to raise awareness of the versitility of cork and its potential as a design material, as well as its environmental benefits. The creative features former NASA astronaut Scott Kelly examining a floor “inspired” by the planet Mars.
“The campaign goal was to leave the definite impression that cork has versitility enough to reach past where the eye can see, beyond the mere good looks and into a world where cork is renowned for its properties as a super material fit for construction,” said Miguel Durao, creative partner at Stream and Tough Guy. “With the help of astronaut Scott Kelly, the goal is that this message reaches far and wide.”
